Top 10 Things We Love in 87 Guesthouse, Gibraltar Road, Baguio City, Philippines

Amethyst, Beryl, Chrysolite, Emerald, Farnet, or Gold? We tried Farnet.

On our first day in Baguio’s cool climate, we decided to check in at an apartment at the 87 Guesthouse, Gibraltar Road, which my friend recommended for its ‘simple elegance and accommodating service’. I will be the sole person shouldering the accommodation expenses for my big family, thus I favored an apartment with a hotel-like feel rather than staying in a real hotel.

A hotel will cost me around 12,000 Philippine pesos (225 US dollars) per day for the five of us while this apartment with a hotel-like feel will only cost me around 6,000-9,000 Philippine pesos (115-170 US dollars) per day.  I can even invite 5 more of my friends or relatives, as this apartment named Farnet can accommodate up to 10 people. The apartment is very spacious and reaches up to the third floor with three bedrooms. It is a family property, and you can directly transact with the owner who just lives nearby (cell +63919 998 9108)

Here are the 10 Things We Love About Farnet at 87 Guesthouse, Gibraltar Road, Baguio City, Philippines!

A view outside will remind you that you are in the Pine Tree Capital of the Philippines. The crisp, cool air gently caresses your skin as you gaze out at the majestic pine trees swaying in the breeze. The soothing sound of rustling leaves mixes with the distant chirping of birds, creating a symphony of nature that fills the air with tranquility. As you breathe in the fresh mountain air, you can’t help but feel a sense of peace and serenity wash over you, melting away any traces of stress or fatigue. 3.) Starry-starry night

When we were there, the cloudy weather didn’t dampen our spirits. In fact, the caretaker mentioned that the view of a starry night is superb, so we were still looking forward to it. Despite the clouds, we absolutely loved the mosaic of houses at night. It felt like an additional painting in that apartment, which already holds many beautiful artworks on its white walls.

The entire second floor of the apartment is a spacious family bedroom. When we first moved in, there were just five of us, but I’ve always felt that there is so much more space to welcome even more people into this space.

5.) Chic Circular Kitchen Table

Cooking and eating utensils are also provided in this apartment. Although we did not cook as we were a bunch of Millennials and GenZ who wanted to starve, we thought that this area is also good for a Cooking Vlog!
