41 Must-Know Airports in the Philippines for Travellers

Posted by

How are you guys? I hope you are all still safe. Travelling may be a bit impossible until we invent a vaccine for COVID. They say it may take a bit up to the first quarter of 2021. We checked around the internet what content we can produce. We thought of enlisting top airports per country, per region, then per continent. At least, it will entice your imagination and give you an idea where to go until we travel again. We have checked Wikipedia and some other sites but do not see much pictures about the airports on the same post. So, what we will be doing is to present you the vital airports with pictures we got from Instagram , tourist spots near that place as per Tripadvisor.

We did not include flights or routes you can take from that airport because most flights were put into a halt. Thus, on some airport websites, it is not showing accurately the international/ domestic flights that they cater on a normal day. I suggest once you are ready to travel, you can just use flights meta search engines such as skyscanner, expedia, cheapflights, and cheapoair websites. At least for now, you have the idea how the airport looks like and tourist spots you can visit near the airport.

There are a total of 12 international airports in the Philippines and 28 principal domestic airports. There could have been more if we will include community airports and aerodromes. More airports might be established in the airport as we see much potential on air travel connecting the 7,107 islands of the Philippines. Here are our 40 Must-Know Philippine Airports for Travellers.

  1. This is an interesting post to read. I did not know the Philippines has so many airports. We only have five in London. So it’s a lot more than what we have here. Thanks for sharing ☺️

    1. Hi Carl, welcome back to the blog.. <3 <3
I agree, Laguindingan airport was tagged as international airport per wikipedia.. I do not see any international flights though in Laguindingan so I still categorized it as a domestic airport.. Let me know for any corrections.. we appreciate it 🙂 Where are you located in the Philippines? 🙂

      1. I am not sure on Laguindingan’s classification though 🙁 I am from Mountain Province but currently working in the Metro 🙂
