I didn’t have much time, so I decided to just visit Aroma Beach. The beach has unique greyish-black sands, but what makes it special is its great accessibility. It’s located right along Airport Road, where you can find plenty of restaurants. Don’t miss the chance to relax on the benches and enjoy the beautiful sunset. I was thrilled with the diverse possibilities when I first planned my itinerary. I had envisioned visiting stunning beaches, and exploring the Tamaraw gene pool, Devil’s Mountain and the Bato-Ili Mangyan community. However, upon arrival, I realized that these locations were quite a distance from the San Jose town center and not easily accessible by public transportation. As a result, I adjusted my plans and focused on experiencing the various hotels and restaurants in the area. In addition to indulging in the local hospitality, I took leisurely strolls, enjoyed the beautiful sunset by the boulevard, and immersed myself in the everyday life of the locals.
