I was thrilled with the diverse possibilities when I first planned my itinerary. I had envisioned visiting stunning beaches, and exploring the Tamaraw gene pool, Devil’s Mountain and the Bato-Ili Mangyan community. However, upon arrival, I realized that these locations were quite a distance from the San Jose town center and not easily accessible by public transportation. As a result, I adjusted my plans and focused on experiencing the various hotels and restaurants in the area. In addition to indulging in the local hospitality, I took leisurely strolls, enjoyed the beautiful sunset by the boulevard, and immersed myself in the everyday life of the locals.
