Posted by Exploring restaurants in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro is a delightful experience for food enthusiasts. The town offers a variety of dining options, ranging from quaint local eateries to more upscale establishments. Most of them are conveniently located in the town center or along the Airport road. We are excited to share our list with you in no particular order. Some of these restaurants come highly recommended by friends, while others are hidden gems we discovered during our strolls.
1.) M/V Grandiya
The captivating feature of this restaurant lies in its ship-like architecture, adding a unique charm to your dining experience. Whether bustling with events like weddings and birthdays or accommodating walk-in guests, there’s always an inviting ambiance to enjoy. 2.) Red Tomato Modern Italian
I find the ambience of Red Tomato Modern Italian classy and instagrammable. During my visit, I ordered aglio olio, one of my most favorite Italian dish. Looking forward to try their other dishes next time. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
3.) Pizza Pasta (Galleria Pizza House 2014)
This restaurant is one of the few establishments open along Airport Road around lunch time. Others are only open after 4pm. Apart from their best selling pizzas and pastas, they have a rood deck which gives you a nice view of the sea while enjoying your food. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
4.) The Buko Halo House
The Buko Halo House brings a fresh and vibrant addition to San Jose’s dining scene along Airport Road. This charming establishment is adorned with inspiring “hugot” lines, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. In addition to a delectable selection of Filipino cuisine, the restaurant also offers an enticing array of Indonesian delicacies, providing a truly unique dining experience.
5.) Mang Inasal
The restaurant chain Mang Inasal has made its mark in San Jose, Mindoro Occidental, offering a delectable array of grilled Filipino dishes. Located in the heart of the city, this branch of Mang Inasal provides a welcoming and cozy ambiance for diners to enjoy their meals. Whether it’s their signature Chicken Inasal, pork barbecue, or traditional halo-halo dessert, visitors can savor the authentic flavors of Filipino cuisine.
6.) Jollibee
Jollibee is a popular fast-food chain in the Philippines, known for its delicious fried chicken and signature sweet-style spaghetti. In San Jose, Mindoro Occidental, locals and tourists alike can enjoy the familiar comfort of Jollibee’s menu in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Whether craving a Chickenjoy meal or the iconic Jolly Spaghetti, residents of San Jose, Mindoro Occidental can head to their nearby Jollibee branch to savor the flavors that have captured the hearts of many across the country.
7.) Seasons Palace Restaurant
The Seasons Palace Restaurant, located within the Seasons Hotel and Convention Center, offers a delightful breakfast buffet experience. Patrons can relish unlimited hotdogs, longanisas, eggs, and fried rice from 6am to 10am, making it an excellent value for an affordable price.
8.) Cavana Family Restaurant & Events Place
I recently came across this charming restaurant while strolling along Airport road at sunset. I was drawn to the delightful al fresco ambiance and tropical atmosphere. Although I didn’t have the chance to dine there as I wasn’t hungry at the time, I made a mental note that their sisig is highly recommended. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially when I requested to see the menu.
9.) McDonald’s
The McDonald’s in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro offers a delightful dining experience amidst the beauty of the region. Located in a bustling area, it provides a convenient and welcoming space for locals and visitors alike to savor their favorite fast food offerings. With its modern decor and friendly staff, this McDonald’s is a popular choice for those seeking a quick and satisfying meal.
