Posted by Bangued, the capital municipality of Abra, is predominantly characterized by mountainous terrain, transitioning to flat and rolling landscapes at its midsection. During my exploration of Bangued alongside my brother, we had the opportunity to uncover the distinct offerings that this area presents. Here are some of the things you can do on your visit.
1.) Experience the place by taking pictures

While it’s common to believe that memories remain vivid, they can fade with time. Exploring this remarkable church and delving into its historical narrative provides a profound glimpse into the rich history of Bangued, Abra itself.
4.) Enjoy their nice coffee shops

5.) Buy Vegetables
Amidst the heightened demand for locally-sourced fresh vegetables during the pandemic, Abra recognized a substantial opportunity and significantly bolstered its upland agriculture sector by providing extensive support to local farmers. As a result of these efforts, the province is now witnessing the fruition of its endeavors, positioning itself to potentially rival Benguet in upland vegetable production. Consequently, vegetables in Abra are notably more affordable compared to other provinces. It’s a great opportunity for visitors to seize and purchase fresh produce while exploring the area.
