Victoria is known as the Duck Raising Capital of the Philippines. In fact, Itik Festival is being celebrated, along with the town’s founding anniversary.
2.) Take home their famed ‘Kinulob na Itik’
These are ducks cooked in a ‘kinulob’ process. I thought kinulob meant smoked but when I googled it, kinulob means ‘covered tightly’. I should have asked the vendor. I did not taste it personally but my wife and mother loved it. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
3.) Pray at La Resurreccion Parish Church
The church was closed when I visited the town. I just stretched my hands on its gates so you can still have a better view of its interiors. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
4.) Food Trip
Some of the interesting restaurants that we found are Fiesta Laguna Restaurant and The Aviary Asian Fusion & Café located along the Victoria- National Highway Road.

They offer some of the most bizarre yet delicious dishes including goats’ and ducks’ meat.
