There are many sentimental structures inside the Laguna Provincial Capitol Compound. Here are some of the structures that you may consider taking a look when inside the Laguna Provincial Capitol in Santa Cruz, Laguna, Philippines.
1.) Old Capital Building
This building was built according to the design of William Parsons during the rule of Governor Juan Cailles in 1907. It was destroyed during the Second World War and rebuilt through the US-Philippine Rehabilitation Act of 1946. From time to time, the building has been undergoing some renovations.
2.) Juan Cailles Monument
Governor Juan Cailles was born in the10th of November 1871 in Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines. He obtained a Teacher’s DIploma in 1890. During the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution, he joined General Emilio Aguinaldo (later on First Philippine President) as Brigadier General. He was one of the signatories of the declaration of Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898. In 1902, he became the First Philippine Governor of Laguna.

3.) New Capitol Building
The New Capitol Building is nearing full construction this year 2022. The New Capital Building will be the new office of the legislative body of the Laguna Provincial Government- The Vice-Governor and the Provincial Board Members.
4.) Cultural Center of Laguna
The Cultural Center of Laguna has been the venue of many ceremonies, some awarding some of the best people in Laguna in terms of public service and community works. Just to add, the graduation ceremony of my mother for her Master’s Degree was also held here in Cultural Center of Laguna.

5.) Water Fountain
