This weekend, I am craving for chicken! As we are currently on hibernation for our next travels, we are enlisting (in no particular order!) our top favorite restaurants which include chicken as one of their best sellers. We failed to save some of our best photos savoring the restaurants’ chickens but hopefully, we can visit them again soon!
1.) Kenny Rogers Roasters
Kenny Rogers Roasters is a chain of chicken-based restaurants founded in the US by country musician Kenny Rogers and former Kentucky governor John Y. Brown Jr. The two’s love of good food brought them together, and in 1991 they opened the first Kenny Rogers Roasters in Coral Springs, Florida. In March 1995, Kenny Rogers Roaster first arrived on Philippine shores with its first branch at Alabang Town Center. Kenny Rogers Roasters is now synonymous with our best-tasting roasted chicken, making it the favorite chicken rotisserie for discerning palates. Now with more than 25 years of serving deliciously awesome and healthy food, Kenny Rogers has a hundred stores in the Philippines and is continuously growing.
2.) Sincerity Restaurant
I first tasted Sincerity Fried Chicken when I was 15 years old when touring Binondo. Their chicken is very tasteful of oriental flavors. The restaurant was founded by Uy Mo Koan and Uy Lim Bee in 1956 in Carvajal St. Binondo, Manila. Right now, they also have branches in modern malls such as Lucky Chinatown Mall and Robinsons Magnolia.
3.) Bon Chon
BonChon was founded by Mr. Jinduk Seh. His motivation to share his country’s favorite comfort food to the world translated into his passion to perfecting the fried chicken cooking technique that ensures a paper-thin crispy texture outside and tender, juicy meat inside. He then spent 2 years creating the perfect addictive glaze that embody the rich and distinct Korean flavors: Soy Garlic and Spicy. Bonchon’s original soy garlic and spicy sauce, which to this day is made in Korea and shipped worldwide.
Your delicious journey starts with the Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken. Marinated overnight in a special concoction of peri-peri chili, herbs, and spices. A whole chicken charcoal-grilled until golden and glorious. Bite into it and taste the peri-flavorful juices bursting from its tender meat. Take the exotic delight of the Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken to different seasons and places with every dip into any of their 8 signature sauces.
A lot has happened since Colonel Harland Sanders perfected his secret recipe over 75 years ago. But through all the ups and downs in KFC’s pretty incredibly history, there’s one thing they know for sure: the secret to being an iconic brand- one that grows older, but never gets old- is to deeply understand who they are and why they exist.
