Seeblick Haus is a German phrase which means Lake View House. Last weekend, we had the privilege to do a staycation in Seeblick Haus, Tagaytay City, Philippines. Here are Our Top 10 Must-Love Things about our Seeblick Haus Staycation!
1.) The Accommodating Hosts- Beverly and Jayson
Beverly and Jayson are the Seeblick Haus’ hosts. Three things you should know about these amazing hosts: First, They are previously OFW nurses from Dubai and Germany who decided to settle and create job opportunities here in Tagaytay City. Second, they can speak fluent English, Tagalog, Ilonggo, basic Arabic and German to guests. Third, Beverly’s hometown is Ilo-ilo while Jason’s is Paranaque.
2.) Pinkish Sunset by Taal Lake
Their balcony offers a cozy vibe while waiting for the Pinkish Sunset by Taal Lake.

3.) Night Landscape
At night, it gives you a landscape you wish you could capture better on camera. During my stay, the night is starry, the clouds are serene and the lights of the neighboring towns are lovely.

4.) Their Chef- Glaiza
You may personally request Glaiza, the hosts’ private chef, to cook something for you. I suggest you do that so you can focus on your staycation. I have tried Glaiza’s kare-kare and pancakes. Looking forward to try her rendition of Bulalo and Tawilis dishes soon.

5.) Home Away from Home
The interiors of Seeblick Haus were conceptualized from the experiences of the hosts living in Dubai and German accommodations. I felt that I am just home away from home!

6.) Work From Home
You can definitely work from home in Seeblick Haus! I was nervous at first knowing that the accommodation is a bit remote from the city. But the internet was fast and reliable. I have completed my webex meetings with video camera on. I have also successfully downloaded SAP, one of the tools I use for work.
7.) House Cleaner- Jennette
As the hosts are ex-nurses who value Cleanliness the most, they made sure their house cleaner Jennette is well-trained. On a brighter note, apart from knowing the principles of Cleanliness, Jennette seems to know as well the principles of Best Customer Service.
8.) Trike Driver- Jaymar
If you are a commuter like us, you may hire Jaymar to be your Trike Driver. He can fetch you anywhere in Tagaytay city and deliver you to Seeblick Haus. He also offers Tagaytay City Tours. You may get his number from the Seeblick hosts.
9.) Parking Area
If you have a car, you can also park it inside Seeblick Haus. The gates are locked during curfew hours guarded by CCTV Cameras.
10.) Family-bonding friendly
