Our best choice, Cebu Tours, one of the DOT-accredited travel agencies in the province picked us at exactly 4am in our hotel to start our private car tour to the southern part of Cebu. We decided to be on a private tour to avoid the hassle of commute– waiting on bus terminals, unoccasional stops, sometimes unruly passengers or getting lost . By having a trusted private tour, a well-loved vacation rather than a disaster is very probable. Here are the 9 Adventures you can expect for your Whale Shark and Kawasan Falls Tour in Cebu, Philippines with Cebu Tours !
1.) Sunrise Watching
The travel time from Cebu City to Oslob will only be around 2 hours if via private car. If you will leave by 4am, you will be in time for Oslob’s lovely sunrise!

2.) Creative Breakfast
Cebu Tours partnered with the best restaurant in Oslob situated on a cliff to offer you a creative breakfast while waiting for the lovely sun to rise above the sea. The rice cake with sweet native yellow mangoes is a special menu only for Cebu Tours customers.

3.) Whale Shark Watching
Cebu tours will assign you a DOT-trained local tour guide while you are in Oslob. They will handle your entrance tickets and environmental permits needed per tourist. You will feel like a VIP as you do not have to fall in line unlike other tourists. Your DOT-trained local tour guide will handle that for you. You can go ahead straight to the environmental briefing seminar about the whale sharks.
First tip: do not apply any sunblocks as its chemicals are harmful to the whale sharks.

4.) Snorkling with Whale Sharks
They will provide life jackets for your snorkling activities. If you know how to swim, you can just take off those jackets and swim along with the whale sharks. In my case, I swam with a baby whale shark I named Toby!
5.) Selfie with Whale Sharks Hokage Style
If you do not have your underwater camera, you can rent one in Oslob for only 500 philippine pesos (10 US dollars). The fisherman a.k.a ‘already trained photographer’ will take as much as a hundred pictures for your 30-minute interaction with these lovely creatures. Out of the hundred photos taken, I love this Hokage Style selfie.

6.) Motorcycle Adventure
After our whale shark adventures, our Cebu tours private car drove up the mountains for a cool down at Tumalog falls. From the mountain’s parking area, you can either ride a motorcyle for only 50 philippine pesos (1 US dollar) or just walk down the narrow road for 20 minutes. I suggest you try the motorcycles!

7.) Fish Spa in Tumalog Falls
Once you are in Tumalog falls, you can sit in one of the rocks and put your feet in the pond. In few seconds, these cute helpful little fishes will pamper your feet. They will eat all those rough dry-dead skin cells!

8.) Take Instagram-Worthy Pictures in Tumalog Water Falls
Kudos to the proper lighting and skills of our local tour guide, Kimberly Kayecee Cuerda, I got this instagram-worthy photo! She is currently single and I am attaching the link of her facebook profile just in case you are interested for a ‘happily-ever-after’ love story in Oslob.
9.) Canyoneering in Kawasan Water Falls
After Tumalog falls, we drove for an hour and 15 minutes to Badian where the famous Kawasan falls is located. The falls is famous for canyoneering activities all through out the Philippines. Another trivia, the locals say, soaking in this majestic waterfall will give you extra youth.

Around 3:30pm, we drove back to our hotel bringing with us a lovely experience we would love to cherish or redo. We are very much grateful to Cebu Tours, for letting us collaborate with their wonderful company. We strongly suggest that you book a private car tour with them. Apart from Whale Shark and Kawasan Falls Tour, they also offer Whale Shark and Sumilon Sandbar Tour, Whale Shark and Pescador Island Hopping Tour.
