2.) Study in UP Los Baños
University of the Philippines is one of the top universities in the world. We are very fortunate that it has a campus in Los Baños, Laguna. I have many high school batchmates who have graduated from this prestigious university.

6.) Visit Baker Hall- The Japanese kept allied civilian prisoners-of-war here from 1942-1945. The prisoners were freed by combined forces of Filipino Guerillas and American Parachutists in a daring raid in February 1945.
7.) Our Lady of the Immaculate Concepcion Parish Church– The Church of Stone was built in 1790, but it used to be a hospital chapel from 1613 to 1727. Japanese soldiers torched the church with civilians inside in retaliation for the raid done in Baker Hall by Filipino Guerillas and American Forces in 1945.
8.) The Yamashita Shrine– Japanese Tourists still visit the Yamashita Shrine, the site where General Tomoyuki Yamashita was hanged as a war criminal in 1946. Located nearby is the shrine for General Masaharu Homma, who was also executed as a war criminal.
