As we continue our journey around the country, we’ve been fortunate to explore beaches across different states, each with its own character, rhythm, and story. 1.) Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland
An iconic stretch of golden sand set against a striking skyline, Surfers Paradise Beach perfectly captures the vibrant energy of the Gold Coast. With consistent waves, wide open shores, and a lively atmosphere from sunrise to sunset, it’s a place where surfers, sunseekers, and casual strollers all come together. Whether you’re swimming between the flags, watching the surfers carve through the waves, or simply enjoying the contrast of ocean blues against towering city views, this beach is a must-visit for first-time and returning travellers alike. 2.) Summerland Beach, Phillip Island, Victoria
A serene stretch of sand along Phillip Island, Summerland Beach is best known for its enchanting sunsets and as the gateway to one of nature’s most charming spectacles—the nightly parade of little penguins returning from the sea. Visitors often gather along the boardwalks in the evening to watch these tiny creatures waddle ashore, making it a perfect blend of coastal beauty and wildlife magic. 3.) Anzac Beach, Phillip Island, Victoria

4.) Kingston Beach, Tasmania
Just south of Hobart, Kingston Beach is a family-friendly haven with golden sands, calm waters, and views across the Derwent River to Mount Wellington. 5.) Mudjimba Beach, Twin Waters, Sunshine Coast
A peaceful stretch of sand just north of Maroochydore, Mudjimba Beach offers calm waters, gentle waves, and a laid-back coastal vibe. We had the privilege of easy access to this beach while staying at Novotel Twin Waters Sunshine Coast, making early morning strolls, sunset walks, and casual swims part of our relaxing getaway. Just a short tram ride from Adelaide, Glenelg Beach is a vibrant seaside destination known for its wide sandy shore, calm waters, and lively jetty precinct. Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or enjoying cafes and shops along the foreshore, it’s an ideal spot for a classic South Australian beach day with a mix of relaxation and local charm.
