Bacolod City has truly been the center of showcasing the incredible masterpieces of talented Negros Occidental artists. Art enthusiasts are bound to revel in the array of public and private art spaces, conveniently located just a few kilometers from each other. If only we had more time, we could have explored even more galleries. But for now, here are our top 4 art galleries in Bacolod!
1.) Art District
The Art District in Bacolod City is an incredible space wholly dedicated to art! This artistic gem is situated at the intersection of Lacson Street and Santa Clara Avenue, Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City. Spanning half a block, it boasts a variety of establishments, including restaurants, bars, and, most notably, art galleries (e.g. Orange Project) exhibiting the work of local artists from the island of Negros Occidental. 2.) Art Cove
Art Cove is a dedicated space of Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod in supporting the creatives of Negros Occidental. Every quarter, they showcase works of one inspiring Negros artist. During our visit, we encountered the works of Ms. Sharon Agapuyan, a Bacolodnon Stained Glass Artist. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
3.) Robinsons Bacolod

4.) The Negros Museum
The Negros Museum is a privately-owned museum which stands as a testimony to artistic brilliance and a heartfelt homage to the rich tapestry of Filipino heritage and culture. Showcasing exquisite works by Jay Tabligan, Rex Cuenca, and Rodney Martinez and other Filipino creatives, the museum also proudly features creations by international artists such as Charles Lahti.
