Our journey to Tabuk City, Kalinga Province started from Santiago City, Isabela. The travel time was around 3-4 hours in total. I did not expect much in this city as my primary goal is to set foot in this Province and count it on my provinces visited in the Philippines list (read our blog here). Here are our Top 4 Things To Do in Tabuk City, Kalinga Province, Philippines!
1.) Try the Coffee Culture
I have heard always about the Kalinga Coffee. As this is Kalinga province, we are really looking forward to try authentic coffee. True enough, across our van terminal, we saw Vanitea Cafe. The cafe looks really aesthetic. We also loved the coffee.
2.) Graceland
There are famous restaurant brands such as Jollibee and Mcdonald’s. I do not want to eat though in these restaurants right now. I am looking for a restaurant which is something unique in Tabuk City. I am not 100% recommending this restaurant but if you are looking for something local, Graceland can already be a good option. During our visit, we tried their pansit batil patong.
3.) Trike- mode of transpo
The main mode of transportation here are the trikes. We enjoyed riding one.
4.) Souvenirs
While waiting for our van for our next journey outside Kalinga province, we decided to buy some interesting souvenirs. The lady said these are weaving patterns of the Kalinga people. We bought some items.
