We opted for the Top Star Hotel for our accommodation, conveniently situated along the highway. Its proximity to SM Cabanatuan made it an easily accessible choice. Exploring local cuisine is an essential part of any trip, right? During our time in Cabanatuan, we headed to Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, known as the food hub of Cabanatuan City. We visited Mamay’s Restobar and indulged in their incredible dishes. Their menu offered authentic and unique items that were new to our taste buds, such as the Crispy Tenga (pig ears), Seafood Kare-Kare, Pinakbet, and Crispy Liempo. The top recommendation for a mall visit in this area is SM City Cabanatuan. It boasts a well-thought-out design, featuring expansive corridors and ample spaces for shoppers to navigate comfortably. The interiors are consistently pristine and well-kept, creating a pleasant and inviting ambiance. Additionally, each floor offers a pleasant, roomy outdoor area to enjoy. Plaza Lucero, recently renovated and situated at the core of Cabanatuan City, stands opposite the Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Parish Cathedral.
