Top 10 Things To Do in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines

While Angeles City is a chartered city (meaning, it is politically independent from the province of Pampanga), it is still usually grouped with Pampanga Province for statistical purposes. What are the things that you can do in Angeles City apart from eating Kapampangan food? Here are our Top 10!

1.) Staycation

4.) Kulitan Script

In Museo ning Angeles, we were accommodated by their resident historian so we can write our names in Kulitan- an indigenous Kapampangan script. It was surprising to know that the script has influences from sanskrit.

5.) Holy Rosary Parish Church

The Holy Rosary Parish Church is the epitome of Kapampangan’s religious traditions in Angeles City. During our visit, there were some renovations inside the historical church. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

6.) Casinos

There are a lot of casinos in Angeles City. One of the casinos we checked are Casino Filipino and Wild Aces Poker Room. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

7.) Walking Street

Walking Street is famous for its bars with its accommodating and beautiful entertainers. This street is flocked by local and international tourists since the 1950s. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

10.) Shop at SM Clark

SM Clark is one of the famous shopping malls in Pampanga. Although not located in Angeles City, this mall is just few minutes away, located in Angeles City’s neighboring town, Clark. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

How to commute to Angeles City: If you are coming from Metro Manila, you can ride any bus with a stopover in Dau Terminal, Mabalacat City, Pampanga. Once alighted from Dau terminal, ask the vendors or locals where you can get a jeepney going to SM Clark. Once you’re in SM Clark, there is a terminal of jeepneys going to Angeles City.
