Just recently, we checked out one on our bucket list by finally visiting Bicolandia (region in the Philippines which is composed of 6 provinces- Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon and Masbate). Our first day of stay starts with Naga City, Camarines Sur. How can you go though to Naga City? Here are our Top 8 Tips.
1.) Reserve your ticket online
First reserve your ticket online. We booked through Bicol Isarog Transport System Inc. Make sure that the website you are visiting is not the bogus one. Some hackers build some fake websites to get money from you.
2.) Save your payment confirmation details
On your online booking, you get to select your seat and payment options. We payed through gcash. Once payment has been successful, make sure to save your payment confirmation details.
3.) Go to the bus terminal at least an hour early
It is recommendable to go at least an hour early to your selected bus terminal. We selected their terminal near Edsa Pasay Five Star Bus Terminal. True enough, our bus arrived earlier so we also left early for departure. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
4.) Get some refreshments in nearby cafes
As we arrived too early on our bus station, we ordered some refreshments in nearby cafes such as the one in Stonehill Hotel. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
5.) Sleep
The trip would be about 9 hours. As we booked a luxury bus which offers lazyboy seats, we did not have problems on sleeping. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
6.) Buy Snacks
In Lucena City, there will be a 20 minutes stopover. If you are not on intermittent fasting, make sure to grab some snacks. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
7.) Alight from Bicol Central Station
We travelled on the evening the arrived the next day to Bicol Central Station in Naga City. There are a lot of buses going to different routes in Bicol. There are also a lot of food stalls. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
8.) Get a Tricycle to your Hotel
Outside Bicol Central Station are tricycles which you can hire going to your hotel.
