This happened the day before we leave from the hotel. 200 us dollar and 150 Turkish Lira stolen from my wallet in PEPITO’s ART HOMESTAY. I had friends staying next door. 4000 pesos stolen from their room. We were the only guests staying temporarily by that time. Others were staying for longer period.
We were on island hopping last day. Only owner and the lady cleans room was knowing that. Security cameras was not working. There was no forcible entry at the door and sliding door at pool side. Nothing changed in the room and everything placed carefully except the zippers of my bag. I always left them in the middle. Money has taken and nothing has been touched. We called the cops. They were not really interested on finding who did. They said they gonna investigate. But no response till now. There is only one exchange office in the island. Not really sure they are still tracking. I had to pay my accomodation with the money i borrow from friends . I tried to contact to ask if thy fix the security cameras. No reply.
