Apart from enjoying the shopping and nature experience in Liliw, we are also delighted on its growing cafes/ restaurants. I am temporarily listing 10 cafes/ restaurants which might get longer in the coming months as we see more restaurants opening up. Here is our top 10 cafes/ restaurants in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines (in no particular order).

1.) Umpay’s Resto Cafe

Umpay’s Resto Cafe is one of the newest must-visit destinations for dining tourists in Liliw, Laguna. They offer a creative and delicious take on various Eastern and Western cuisines. Some of the best sellers that we have tried are Apple Sage Porkchop, Mango Basil Pizza, Mango Caramel Brick and Chocolate Cheesecake. Try browsing their facebook or instagram page then you will have more than enough options to choose from their nicely curated menu. The resto is located at Brgy. Ilayang Taykin, Liliw, Laguna (Waze: Umpays Resto Cafe). Looking forward to come back here soon! (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

2.) Phở HoaHồng

Phở HoaHồng is the first and only Vietnamese restaurant offering authentic cuisines in Liliw, Laguna. It was founded by a Filipino balikbayan and his Vietnamese wife, Ms. Hồng. Phở means noodle soup while Hoa is the name of the twin sister of Ms. Hồng. When Hoa and Hồng are combined together, it creates another Vietnamese word, HoaHồng which means rose. Some of the best sellers that we tried are Phở bò (beef tenderloin with rice noodle soup), Phở gà (chicken with rice noodle soup), Bún thịt nướng (grilled pork with rice noodles), cơm tấm sườn cha (grilled pork with rice and egg meatloaf), gỏi cuốn tôm thịt (fresh spring roll with pork and shrimp), chả giò tôm thịt (fried spring roll with pork and shrimp) and bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich, choices of grilled pork or chicken). You can visit them at 108 Rizal St, few distance away from Liliw’s Comelec office. For reservations, you may contact them on facebook or mobile 09659509225. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

3.) Chef Mau Restaurant

Chef Mau Restaurant is one of the pioneer restaurants in Liliw, Laguna offering Filipino Continental Cuisine ranging from the famous and common Filipino dishes to the unchartered heritage dishes discovered by its late founder Chef Mauro Arjona Jr. Chef Mau’s family continues his legacy in providing this iconic branding of the restaurant. Some of the best sellers that we have tried are Pinoy Caesar Salad (with adobo flakes), Chicken Cordon Bleu and Stuffed Eggplant. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

4.) Celestine’s

Celestine’s Restaurant is located in Brgy. Ibabang Taykin along Liliw-Magdalena Road, Liliw, Laguna. It is the home of boodle fist in Liliw, a must experience Filipino Food culture where you will eat in Banana leaves by hand. Although the restaurant is not within the shopping streets of Liliw’s town center, it is recommendable for tourists who want extra breathing and parking space (swipe left for more photos). Their Alfresco is ideal for big groups of families and friends. Some of their best sellers are sizzling mixed seafoods, salmon head sinigang, and grilled liempo. For reservations, you may contact them on their facebook page or mobile 09171604520. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

5.) White House Bistro 1938 of Liliw

It is an ancestral white house in Gat-Tayaw Street turned into an authentic restaurant serving Filipino dishes. On Sundays though, you can request for India’s chicken biryani too! Apart from their food, we love this antique house with its crystal chandeliers. For reservations, you may message them on their facebook page. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

6.) Arabela Restaurant

Although it can be a very crowded place during weekends, it is still a nice place that serve good salad and pasta. We are yet to try their pizza (they say it is also good). One of the things we find lovely in this restaurant is the way they present their food. It seems like they are presenting an art too! Who would expect a lovely flower garnish on your salad, right? 7.) Caffe Lilio Ristorante

It is good for romantic dining set up. We have not tried their best sellers yet apart from their four cheese pizza, mushroom soup and iced americano but we are including them on your must visit list. Why? The staffs are so kind and courteous with their very chic uniform. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

8.) HapiBuda Korean Bbq

So far, it is the budget friendly samgyup house I know. I toured some friends from Tuguegarao last time and this samgyup house saved me! Although I wish I could have had bigger budget that time so we could have dined in Umpay’s, Pho HoaHong, Celestine’s or Chef Mau’s.

9.) T3

After eating out, we normally crave for milk tea. Good thing they have T3 one of the nicest milk tea places I know. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

10.) Coolasa

They promote their pizza as ‘the only thin crust pizza in Liliw’. The business was opened by Mr. Excie and Concon Magcase in 2018. Due to the pandemic, coolasa only currently accepts take out orders.
