In our search for Top AirBnB units in Metro Manila where we can stay for our Return-to-Office set up, we encountered Sustainable Living by Tina.

Sustainable Living by Tina is a brand birthed by Ms. Tina Baron for her accommodation units. Currently, she has 10 listings around Makati and one ten-bed boarding home in Parañaque. Here are our Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Stay in her accommodations.

1.) She Uses Local and/or Eco-Friendly Products

She has at least 6 local and/or eco-friendly brands in most of her properties. They are Ritual PH, Mr.Koala PH, IVO Water Filter, Econest PH, Tommy’s Coffee, and More Than a Chair, Inc.

A. Ritual PH

Sustainable Living by Tina uses Lavender Liquid Soap, Rosemary Clarifying Shampoo, and Citronella Dish Liquid from Ritual PH. These are biodegradable products scented only with essential oils.

B. Mr. Koala PH

Sustainable Living by Tina uses a plant-based dishwashing sponge (made from natural coconut husk and wood pulp).

C. IVO Water Filter

This product which uses Japan technology are all installed on her accommodation properties. It removes contaminants from tap water, including microscopic impurities. Hence, no need to buy plastic water bottles. You can drink from the tap.

D. Econest PH

Sustainable Living by Tina uses a plant-based and biodegradable trash liner from Econest PH.

E. Tommy’s Coffee

Tommy’s Coffee will be available on all of her units in Makati by the end of June. Tommy’s Coffee offers you a taste of Sagada coffee, a local variant which is grown in the Cordillera highlands of Northern Philippines.

Sustainable Living by Tina offers you at least 100mbps fiber internet. The host even plans to upgrade it more to 300mbps soon.

You can exchange a book that you have for any of the books the property has on the shelves.

9.) She can arrange for a Europcar Service

The host can arrange for AIRPORT transfers, Pick up Service or Transportation to go Out of Town. From Laguna, we were picked up by Europcar. The chauffer is polite and good-looking. He also wears a nice uniform. Definitely much better than commuting.

10.) Last but not the least, There is a Welcome Drink!

You can either have Buko Juice, Tanduay Ice or San Miguel Beer as your Welcome Drink!
