11 Things To See while in Sala Rattanakosin Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand

     Sala Rattanakosin may be a bit pricey but this 4-star hotel gives you a VIP service with an amazing view of Bangkok’s famous tourist sites. It is only a few minutes walking distance from Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace.

    Here are the 11 Things To See for our Sala Rattanakosin Hotel Review, Bangkok, Thailand!

1.) Take in views from their rooftop terrace

       They have a rooftop terrace with 360 degree view which gives you a nice site of Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace. Their rooftop bar also offer liquors and meals.

2.) Comfy Bed

       They only have around 15 rooms. All have a nice air-condition, 32-inch LCD televisions, and minimalist black and white concept designs.

3.) Art installations in the hallway

To add more creativity on black corridors, they have these different art installations.

4.) Welcome drinks with refreshing face towel 

Although check-in time is only at 3pm, you can stay in their cafe enjoying the view of Wat Arun. They serve their welcome drinks with a refreshing face towel.

5.) All Stairs, No Elevators

Supporting sustainability, this hotel has no elevator.

6.) Nice Umbrellas and Bath Robes

     Their bath robes are the typical bath robes in hotels. BUT,  their umbrellas are really of nice quality. Here in Bangkok, it is very sunny. Thus a big umbrella is such a nice help in walking around the city.

I bet my girlfriend peeked while I was on the shower.

8.) Nice Lavatory

     It seems it is an art installation as well. I haven’t researched much but the metals used could be recycled metals to support environmental sustainability.

9.) Dinner

      The resto is a bit pricey. So we just walked in and had some pictures. It could be nice having a dinner while enjoying the night view of Wat Arun.

     On our day tour, their receptionist with a good command of English helped us strategize better for our itinerary.

11.) Nice Breakfast

     You have this heavy breakfast with fresh flowers on the side, nice breeze of the unpolluted river, and a morning view of Wat Arun.

      We ate Thai Wok Omelette with Blue Crab served with stir-fried morning glory and steamed Jasmine Rice, American breakfast with variety of breads and jams with bacon and eggs.
