We’ve always been dreaming of traveling to a place where all perfect destinations: beaches, temples, bars, culture and local foods are in one get-away. And this escapade made our dream into a reality… Bali, Indonesia.

These are the ten romantic places which you’ll surely love to share on your Instagram and Facebook:

1.) The Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

1

I only got to see the Banaue Rice Terraces along our way to Baguio, but who would’ve thought that I may be able to witness the UNESCO World Heritage site and it’s here in Bali! You could soak yourself all day watching the gorgeous greenery views.

2.) Taman Ayun Temple

2

Also known as the Garden Temple in the Water. I was already looking onto people’s timelines I follow on IG on how they pose themselves on the great temples of Bali, but when I got there it was the only time that I realize that Balinese locals do not like yoga and other awkward poses in their temples, it’s sacred so they speak.

3.) Ulun Danu Bratan Temple

3

The part of the temple that gets all the attention is the 11-roof meru, followed by a 3-roof meru, situated on a point of land, jutting out into the lake. And you’ll get to indulge yourself with the beautiful landscapes inside.

4.) Luwak Plantation and Agriculture

Also known for the best and most expensive coffee you will find, the Luwak Coffee. Get yourself a picture with your first-experience of Luwak Coffee with the civets.

5.) The Ubud Monkey Forest

A natural forest sanctuary that is home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques. One golden rule, be kind to the monkeys.

6.) Tanah Lot Temple

Bali’s most important landmark famed for it’s unique offshore and sunset backdrops. Plus, visit their grandeur stores for souvenir items.

7.) Tirta Empul Temple

And yes! Bali is temple after temples! It’s also called the Holy Water Spring. It’s a place where to purify ourselves from the bad influences in life.

8.) Bali Celuk Village

It is a traditional village famous for gold and silver handicrafts. You can ask the smiths to do your jewelry the way you want it or visit their showroom and purchase your own at a reasonable price.

9.) Tegenungan Waterfalls

It’s the most popular and easy-access waterfall in Bali. Typical scene around here is genuinely delightful, with green trees, stores nearby and rooms to stay if you plan on taking overnights.

10.) Kuta Beach

The most accessible beach with no entrance fees, and just a walking distance if you’re staying nearby the Kuta area. If you love surfing, then you’re in the right place.

Tips: Plan your trip with a private driver at the airport. Usually they charge 50 US dollars on a day tour. They will be in charge of your itinerary for the whole trip. When you plan to go to somewhere, always ride the Blue Bird Taxi with the albatross logo. They use meter and the drivers are polite compared to some other taxis around the area, they will try to haggle and take advantage of the tourists.
