3 Activities to Do in a Malaysia layover

Posted by

Malaysia is one of the main transit points of the world to more than 165 destinations. In our Yangon flight, we had a stopover in Malaysia for 11 hours.

Here are the three activities you can do while in this country for a short period of time:

1.) Go to the City via train

The airport is a bit far from their capital city. To avoid traffic, you may use their high-speed train which gives you a quick view of the peoples’ lives from the coconut palm plains, communities, and stucked-cars-in-a-high-way-traffic that you will pass-by.

2.) Have a selfie with Petronas Towers

The Petronas Towers are the tallest buildings in Southeast Asia. In the past (from 1998-2004), they were also considered as the tallest in the world. Consequently, the Petronas Towers still lure millions of visitors.

3.) Sleep in a capsule hotel

Bed rates are comparatively low in Malaysia. I was very tired and decided to try the capsule hotel in Malaysia (rather than sleep on benches) for the first time in my life. You should try it too!
